New President and CEO for Dan Hotels, Israel - Ronen Nissenbaum appointed as the Company’s President and CEO
Michael Federmann, Chairman of the Dan Hotels’ Board of Directors, announced today the board’s unanimous decision to appoint Ronen Nissenbaum as the next President and CEO of the Dan Hotels Corporation, effective January 1, 2018.

Married with three children between the ages of 22, and 16, Ronen Nissenbaum brings with him a rich and extensive background in the hotel industry in Israel and overseas. He studied hotel management in Switzerland and received an MBA from Emory University. In the last 18 months, Nissenbaum served as Vice President of Luxury operations for Hilton Hotels in the Americas, a grouping that includes the Waldorf-Astoria and Conrad Hotels, and was responsible for 15 hotels and three hotels in pre-opening stages.
Previously, Nissenbaum served as Managing Director of the Waldorf-Astoria in New York, considered one of the most famous hotels in the world with its 1,400 rooms located in the heart of Manhattan, He also held the position of Senior Executive VP of Operations at Marina Bay Sands (LVS) between 2009 and 2011 in the $6 Billion Integrated Casino Resort. From 2011 to 2014, Nissenbaum served as President and CEO of the New York Plaza Group owned by Mr. Yitzhak Tshuva.
In addition, between 1996 and 2009, Nissenbaum held several senior positions with InterContinental Hotel Group, including Regional Vice President for North America, General Manager of the flagship Buckhead InterContinental, the David InterContinental Hotel in Tel Aviv, The Forum Berlin and the InterContinental Paris. Prior to InterContinental, Ronen spent a few years with the Forte Group in London and 3 years in Paris, opening the entire Euro Disney resort with 7 hotels, Festival Disney and the Amusement park.
Ronen Nissenbaum will succeed Raffi Sadeh, who served as President and CEO of the Dan chain for four years, and will complete his tenure on December 31, 2017.
