Dan Hotels Chain to expand
Three properties are being added to the Dan family of hotels.
After many months of negotiations, The Dan Hotels, Israel, has announced that it is acquiring three hotels from the Rimonim chain. The properties in Eilat, Tzfat and Nazareth are being purchased from the Israel Land Development Company for a total of NIS 225 million, and will add another 579 rooms to the Dan portfolio.
In addition, the ILDC has three months to decide whether to add the Neve Ativ Rimonim Hermon Holiday Village, with 44 rooms to the deal for an additional NIS 17.7 million.
Ronen Nissenbaum, CEO of the Dan Hotels, Israel commented today: “We are delighted that this deal has now come to fruition and that we are able to offer travelers additional properties around the country, including two in locations where currently there is no Dan presence. We are also actively trying to secure three other properties as part of the negotiations.”
